Aparri, We Care distributes school supplies
APARRI, THE PHILIPPINES (JUN 8, 2011) — Representatives of Aparri, We Care distributed school supplies to about 1,600 students attending Aparri’s public schools. Each child received one backpack containing a notebook, pencils and a sharpener, a ruler, a writing tablet, crayons, one pair of sandals, a toothbrush and toothpaste.
Distribution was coordinated through the office of Mayor Ismael Tumaru and assisted by education superintendant Lily Padre. Ramon Flores and others representing Aparri, We Care, handed out the school supplies with the help of school teachers.
Aparri, We Care distributed similar back-to-school supplies to 1,000 Aparriano students in 2008.
