Aparri, We Care offers typhoon relief to Cagayan

APARRI, CAGAYAN (OCT 27, 2009) — A donation from the Aparri International Humanitarian Foundation (Aparri, We Care) was used to feed victims of Typhoon Pepeng (Parma) in Aparri.
Joselito Sevilla, a representative for Aparri, We Care, delivered the donation to Mayor Ismael Tumaru. The funds were later spent on 60 canvas sacks of rice, which were distributed among Aparri’s typhoon victims.
The typhoon caused significant damage to buildings in Aparri earlier this month and contributed to greater hardship for less fortunate Aparrianos. Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) also made landfall in Luzon late last month and triggered severe flooding in Manila.
